We want to reassure our clients we are still open for business, just a few changes have been made 🐾
In order to continue to provide our veterinary services to our clients and animals, we have implemented the following protocols which will help us continue to maintain a safe place for you to come to, as well as to safeguard the staff here at Epsom Avenue Veterinary Clinic.
The following protocols are effective with immediate effect:
1️⃣Client’s are asked to NOT enter the clinic when they arrive, please call the reception – 9277 2231- on your arrival where you will be advised to either wait in your car or enter for your appointment. This is to reduce the amount of people in the clinic at one time. We do have some outside seating that you are welcome to use.
2️⃣Only one person per consultation will be permitted for any appointment.
3️⃣We have introduced a strict ‘no hand shake’ or any kind of physical contact with clients and encourage you to keep 1.5 meters away from each other (we know how cute our vets our and how hard this will be). We encourage you to use the hand sanitiser available in the reception area.
4️⃣We encourage you to pay over the phone, via bank transfer or by pay pass. Do not be offended if we wear gloves to process your payment.
5️⃣Please do not be offended if we ask you when you make an appointment if you have been away or been ill with flu/cold/sore throat or respiratory issues, currently unwell, or been recently quarantined, or been in contact with someone that has. If this is the case, we will do our best to make arrangements to still attend your animal and make sure they get the care they need.
6️⃣The majority of our appointments will be done outside or if need be in our large treatment room. This is to help us maintain a safe place for you to come to with your pet, as well as ourselves.
7️⃣If you have a pet that is on long term medication, we ask you to check what you have and to contact us to order enough to cover you for up to possibly three months, we can post out any medication to you at an extra cost. This also applys to any food you order through us. We will require payment at time of ordering of all medications/food.
8️⃣We will be taking additional measures to ensure the hospital is cleaned and sanitised more. We are confident that continued vigilance will help keep our environment safe, and all those who are in it healthy.
Please be patient with us as we undertake these new protocols and please do not be offended if our measures appear impersonal. We would love to great you with our normal hand shakes and hugs, but the health of our staff and clients are our main priority.
If you have any concerns about visiting our clinic please call ahead to discuss options, and do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you have 🐶🐱🐰🐥
See you and your furry friend soon!
