Whilst we are now doing face to face consultations we still ask that a minimum of 2 persons per consultation and prefer if you that you do not bring children with you. On arrival, we encourage you to wash you hands in the conveniently located bathroom or use the provided hand sanitiser. We are still following ‘No handshake’ or physical contact policy.
We ask that whilst waiting in the reception area that you maintain social distancing and not approach other clients or staff, if you would like to wait outside or in you car you are welcome to just let us know. Depending on the nature of the treatment the vet may ask you to wait in the reception area or require to take them through to the treatment room where our trained nurses will help look after your pet. Please do not be offended by this, it is so we can comply with social distancing advise. You may also request this if it makes you feel more comfortable.
Pay pass or EFTPOS payments are preferred payment method. We are still happy to take food orders/ repeat scripts and payments over the phone, orders are generally available in 48hours.
Do not come to the vets if you are:
- Unwell with a fever, respiratory symptoms, coughing, sore throat, shortness of breath or experiencing symptoms including, a runny nose, headache, muscle or joint pains, nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, loss of sense of smell, altered sense of taste, loss of appetite and/or fatigue.
- Have been interstate or overseas in the last 14 day. Have been advise to self-isolate. Have been in contact with someone who is in quarantine or waiting on COVID-19 test results.
If your pet is in need of urgent medical treatment advise staff of your situation so that we can work out how best to see to their needs.
